Visually rich encyclopedias are great for when you want a break from screentime.
Our kids read them at breakfast when we are reading the news.
Picturepedia is a great start as you don’t have to be a fluent reader to enjoy it. The others listed here are also filled with great photos and illustrations and kids can learn so much from the detailed descriptions.
